New MPanel Website

Using Embedded Cables

If you haven’t  looked at our website lately, please do. I think you will like the changes we have made.

Our Tutorials page now includes new training material, including a section on Embedded Cables, a section on Modular Tents, and our new Design Check List, to help you troubleshoot your MPanel designs.

To see these new features just go to www.mpanel.com.  And please let us know if there are other subjects you would like us to address online.

MPanel has a method of putting a cable in the ridge and hips of a tent design that allows the cables to move naturally to find the correct arc. The normal MPanel paneling methods can then be used to determine the panels needed.

Designing Modular Tents Using MPanel

Modular tents are becoming more popular, and with MPanel you can design these quickly maintaining geometrical modularity. In Modular tents, the junction between the sections needs to lie in a vertical plane, and MPanel enables  you to restrict the model, allowing you to do this.
