The primary purpose of this release is compatibility with Windows Vista. MPanel 12.2 will still run on older platforms, such as W98, Win2000, WinXP, as well as Vista.

The changes include:
 Saving program settings in the designated users area
Changing the help file to HTML based help
 Window sizing changes to cope with the Aero styles in Vista
 Security issues on program registration addressed

These changes let you run MPanel on Vista as recommended, ie as a standard user, with the User Account Control on.

In addition:

The 'save options to file' has been made more robust, so it is now practical to save the MPanel parameters for individual jobs.

International number format handling has been improved, so you can exchange drawings between countries using different decimal point symbols.

A few minor errors were fixed.
