New features in Release 10
Model Builder
New tool
that draws meshes and boundary line prototype models as a starting point for
your design. A
real time saver on the initial drawing.
Double Mesh
Extended tool can now
increase or reduce the mesh density in the NSurf and Msurf direction. Used for adjusting the mesh resolution,
obtaining fast designs and relaxations, and for allowing special cases such as
deep catenary edges.
Cross Section
Extended tool can now
optionally specify a fixed number of points on a cross section. This allows a
set of cross sections to be used to create a mesh.
Mesh to Polylines
Extended tool can now
reverse warp and weft in a mesh in one operation.
Seam Allowance
Extended tool can now
overlay the seam and the original panel, and can add balance marks to the
panel.
Panel Production
Extended tool can now orient
the panel by the left edge, and set a minimum X coordinate value for the data
dump. This supplies the material edge offset when panels are drawn from the
coordinate set.
Panel Output
New tool that handles the
final changes needed on some systems for panel output. Can separate the outer
panel edge onto a cutting layer, change the polylines
to splines, and output the panel as a block.
